Bolivar has always been my hometown. I was born and raised in this wonderful community and graduated from Bolivar High School in 1997.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southwest Baptist University in 2003.  I have 3 children who’ve all attended Bolivar Schools.

Helping Polk and Cedar County residents navigate the often confusing landscape of the mortgage process, especially with home loans more common in rural areas such as USDA home loans, brings me a sense of giving back to this incredible community that has been and still is so important to my family and me. I love seeing the sense of relief on my clients’ faces at the closing table when we’ve made the process seamless and easy to understand, and they are confident in their decision to become home owners.

In my free time, I enjoy boating, camping, kayaking, fishing, watching sports, and gardening. It’s probably safe to say that I love most outdoor activities!  I like to travel, meet new people and be involved in community activities and philanthropies. 

Before joining the MidMo Mortgage team almost 10 years ago, I worked in the Insurance industry. That background has helped greatly when discussing and reviewing the ever-changing home insurance aspects of being a Mortgage Lender and the insurance requirements for becoming a home owner.  I truly love what I do for a living and I get the greatest satisfaction in knowing that what my new customers initially saw as an almost overwhelming initiative to own their next home has been transformed into an easy-to-understand and often even enjoyable journey for them about one month later.
